Telephone Interpretation

Telephone interpretation is a three-way phone conversation with a human interpreter. The interpreter facilitates communication, meaning-for-meaning, between a Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Hispanic patient and the healthcare provider.

During a consultation, the patient, family and healthcare provider(s) speak directly to each other. The interpreter says everything spoken between all parties.

For services, dial (501) 526-0399, and provide the following information:

  • Caller’s Name
  • Clinic Name
  • Patient’s Full Name
  • Patient’s Date of Birth
